Tara

Dental Hygienist

tr-taraTara began her career in the dental field as a dental assistant in 2005. She has worked in general practice, orthodontics and other specialties. In 2009 she was accepted to the Hudson Valley Community College Dental Hygiene Program. It was there that she developed a passion for providing her patients with the highest quality of preventative care and oral health education. She was nominated and chosen as a Who’s Who among American Colleges and Universities and served as President for the student chapter of the American Dental Hygiene Association . Tara was also honored as the recipient of the Dental Hygiene Association of the State of New York: President’s Award for Excellence, which honors a top graduating student from the college’s Dental Hygiene program. She graduated in May 2011 and joined our practice in Sep 2011 and brings with her enthusiasm and patient centered approach of dental hygiene to our office.

In her free time she enjoys reading , and taking advantage of the all the outdoor activities the Hudson Valley has to offer including mountain biking and skiing.

Jennifer

Dental Hygienist

tr-jenJennifer attended Hudson Valley Community College where she received her degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been actively practicing in the profession for 14 years. Jen takes pride in continuing her education by keeping up to date with the latest in oral health education and technology. This allows her to provide her patients with the best of care. Jen’s main goal is to improve your oral health by providing you with the tools necessary to maintain a healthy mouth!

In her free time Jen enjoys volunteering at the local elementary school providing dental health education to the students.

So far so good! After doing alot of research and previously getting sub par work (that had to be replaced) I found Hyde Park Dentistry. I used to work in a dental office so I know what to look out for. If you need implants - go there ! They can do everything in office. Other offices you are sent in a merry-go-round to different specialist then come back then again. The extra 10 minutes drive from Poughkeepsie was worth it ! The guy is very easy to talk with and not once tried to over-treat.
