tufankjian-drDr. Timothy Tufankjian began his career practicing in New Jersey. In early 2005, he relocated to the Hudson Valley where he began practicing as a full time associate in a well established practice in Kingston, New York. In 2011 Dr. Tufankjian purchased the practice of Dr. Richard Whalen in Hyde Park, New York, where he plans to continue the tradition of excellent care for patients in this area.

Dr. Tufankjian’s practice philosophy is to provide patients with the highest standard of care possible. He accomplishes this by taking the time needed to make his patients comfortable and provide them with treatment that will be esthetically pleasing and stand the test of time. He prides himself on taking many hours of continuing education classes to help him stay on the forefront of modern dentistry. There are many exciting new advances in dentistry that Dr. Tufankjian is eager to bring to his practice, including oral surgery, bone grafting, dental implants and invisible braces.

When he is not improving the lives of patients through dentistry, Dr Tufankjian enjoys spending time with his wife Tara, skiing in the winter, and mountain biking in the summer.

So far so good! After doing alot of research and previously getting sub par work (that had to be replaced) I found Hyde Park Dentistry. I used to work in a dental office so I know what to look out for. If you need implants - go there ! They can do everything in office. Other offices you are sent in a merry-go-round to different specialist then come back then again. The extra 10 minutes drive from Poughkeepsie was worth it ! The guy is very easy to talk with and not once tried to over-treat.
